Jewelry Appraisals and Insurance

Appraisals

We can provide detailed written appraisals for your jewelry. We will clean your items, provide pictures, and detail the gemstone identifications,  and estimated replacement value. All jewelry appraisals are done on-site. The cost is $50.00 for the first piece and $25.00 for each additional piece.

Due to the labor-intensive nature of jewelry appraisals, you will need to leave your jewelry with us while it is being appraised. The usual time frame to complete appraisals is one to two weeks, depending on our current workload and quantity of items.

Once your jewelry has been appraised with us, you can bring the item back to us for appraisal updates at no charge! We recommend updating your jewelry appraisals every three to five years to maintain the proper insurance value.
